Julie and Peter celebrated their wedding with their closest friends and family on Halloween night in East Nashville. The East Nashville wedding was originally located in a Tennessee state park, but the pandemic forced the couple to relocate and limit their guest list. Despite the limited numbers, the wedding reception was the exact break everyone needed from election politics and pandemic news. Being a Halloween wedding, the wedding guests wore costumes to the entire event.
The wedding featured elements of Julie and Peter’s relationship together, including an emphasis on cat and Jurassic-park themed decorations. A few other key wedding personalized details: converse shoes with their wedding date embroidered on the back, a cat-themed wedding cake, and a cat-print reversible vest that Peter sewed together himself. I can’t imagine a more completely East Nashville wedding – unique, fun, and, most importantly, adhering to CDC pandemic guidelines!
This wedding was also featured in Rock n Roll Bride Magazine – check it out here.

The couple opted for the wedding party to keep their masks on and remain distant during the ceremony and group photos.
