I grew up in Louisville and have some wonderful childhood memories running around the Kentucky Science Center. It was fun to revisit the museum looking at it through entirely different eyes as a wedding photographer! Kenny and Niki had their first date here in 2017 and decided it would be the perfect spot to celebrate their wedding.
A Kentucky Science Center wedding would not be complete without photos in front of the iconic parabolic mirror. We did the first look in front of the mirror at the entrance, and Kenny’s reaction was so much fun to photograph. These two constantly make each other laugh; it’s so obvious that they are made for each other. We managed to avoid the rain and capture a stunning orange and pink sunset after the ceremony, and on our way back to the venue we caught a double rainbow over the Ohio River. A truly magical evening! Congratulations Kenny and Niki – your Kentucky Science Center wedding was absolutely perfect!

Loved this first look moment at the Kentucky Science Center Parabolic Mirror
With a wedding in the heart of downtown Louisville, it can be hard to find much greenery! We found this small park on the corner next to the Science Center and it was a perfect little pop of greenery in the midst of the city.

If it rains on your wedding day – don’t despair! There’s a chance it will clear and leave behind some clouds for an epic sunset like this one.
In between rain showers we had enough time to wander the streets of downtown Louisville for photos.
