This colorful bridal session was an absolute dream to photograph! Kirsi was a vision in this Milly ballgown from Morilee by Madeline Gardner. Botanica created a beautiful yellow bridal bouquet for a monochrome effect with the backdrop. The yellow feather headband came from The Hat Girls, and was a perfect accessory for a Louisville bride (especially during Derby season!). With the monochromatic yellows, Kirsi looked just like a sun bride.
It was a perfect injection of color that we all needed after a year of dull pandemic life. The wedding world is coming alive after a year in hibernation, and colorful bridal sessions are such a fun and creative way of celebrating your special day! Colorful bridal portrait sessions allow for so much creative license in posing and use of color and flash. I adore brides who give me the chance to work this way. A huge thanks to the creative team: Botanica (florals), The Fenley Studio (hair and makeup), Rebecca’s Wedding Boutique (gown), The Hat Girls (headband), Madern Press On Nails (nail art), Kirsi & Mark (couple).
