Courtney & Danny | Wedding at Le Musee de F.P.C, New Orleans

Courtney and Danny live together in Los Angeles but planned their wedding in Courtney’s hometown; she always knew she wanted a New Orleans wedding. The wedding took place at Le Musee de FPC, a historic house in the center of the city that features the art and history of free people of color. Courtney, an associate dean at the UCLA Fielding School of Public Health, uses felt art as a creative outlet and designed all of the florals by hand with her felt creations. Their wedding was full of New Orleans wedding traditions, including a traditional cake pull, a second line, and live jazz musicians playing during the ceremony. To top it all off, all of New Orleans was in a celebratory spirit for Halloween, and several costumed groups of people on their way to the bars stopped by to wish the couple well! It was a festive and gorgeous New Orleans wedding that I’ll never forget. Thank you Courtney and Danny for having me!
