New York City Rooftop Engagement Session I Leslie Rodriguez Photography

After avoiding travel for over a year thanks to pregnancy and a pandemic, it was a joy to return to my love of New York City photography! This New York City engagement was a perfect welcome back. Nicole and Chris were so much fun to photograph, dancing and smiling across the rooftop on a perfect NYC evening. The buildings surrounding us provided an epic backdrop for a New York City engagement session.

While many of my New York engagement sessions hit usual tourist spots, this one was unique in that we had this entire Manhattan terrace to ourselves. If you want a New York engagement session without having to wait your turn for a popular tourist location among the throngs of people who are visiting, two options are to either wake up at the crack of dawn for your session...or splurge a bit on a hotel room with a terrace so that you can have an epic view all to yourself for as long as you want. That’s what happened for this one, and it was a joy to see it come to life.
