Summer Wedding at the Connors Center at Boston College

Michelle and Dylan planned their Massachusetts wedding at the Connors Center, a wedding venue close enough to Boston for easy access but far enough away to feel like you are the only event happening for miles around. This gorgeous wedding venue is a part of Boston College, and was built in 1902. The estate features formal gardens and paths designed by Olmsted and Vaux, famed designers of New York City’s Central Park. In other words: it’s absolute heaven for a photographer. Everywhere I turned I found breathtaking locations for portraits. Their stunning outdoor ceremony was held in the Connors Center gardens, where Michelle descended a long stone staircase before making a grand entrance into the sun to meet Dylan. I couldn’t resist another stone staircase on the other side of the estate wedding for their first look; I had a perfect aerial view of Michelle’s descent toward Dylan, and her veil trailing down the old stones transported me to England. A view over the ramparts showed the sailcloth tent reception down below on the estate grounds, and it was absolute magic taking their sunset portraits at the top of the estate while listening to music drifting up to us from the tent below. If you’re planning a Boston wedding, I can’t recommend this venue enough. Thank you to Michelle and Dylan for having me there to tell the story of your beautiful Boston wedding!
